Haida Picture Appreciation Noviembre 2020

This is Chanyun Temple in Cholla Province, Korea. The red maples in autumn here are very beautiful, it is a pretty ideal place for photographers to capture the scenery in autumn. You can appreciate the beauty of Korea in the flowing water, colorful trees, and antique temples.

Sardella Bay, located among lush forests, the hollows in the cliffs formed by the sea fascinated us. Passing through the rocks by boat, young people jump high into the sea over the rocks. I recommend going here on weekdays.

I have went to Obo Liang Depopulated Zone, Qinghai Province of China many times and I never found there was a salt lake here.
Once I led my team took photos here I found there was a lake here, then I went to find the mysterious lake lonely. Before I went, I joked with my teams that I was going to find water and maybe I would become the next Jiamu Peng( a scientist who disappeared strangely in a depopulated zone).
Amazingly, the salt lake existed indeed, out of our lamps 3 km. I was so excited when I saw the lake because here you can overlook the whole Yadan Demon Castle and the lakes and deserts in Obo Liang.
It was exactly sunset at the moment, so I used Haida GND filter to balance the light cause the light changed too fast. Haida GND filter helped me to capture the perfect picture.

GOLDEN

«The golden rule is that there are no golden rules.»

As an islander I have a particular story with the sea because after all we live surrounded by it!
I’m an absolute fan of seascape photography and I try to do it as much as possible. With the weekend approaching, I’ve checked the tides and decided to try my luck in Porto da Cruz and play a bit with the shutter speed trying to catch the action of the waves crashing against the rocks. This was one of the shots I most liked from that day.

It was a dark and rainy weekend. I went to Kuşadası which was a beach resort town on Turkey’s western Aegean coast, a jumping-off point to take photos. I waited for the rain to stop unfortunately ıt was getting dark. So I changed my mind and prepared all my stuff in the car. I took these photographs while the raindrops were running low. Hopefully, I hadn’t missed the harmony of the scene…

Autumn Tones, Fell-Side Brook

The year 2020 has provided a lot of changes in the world but something stays unchanged, for decades or even hundreds of years – for example, this spot. Finnish Lapland is well-known for its winter landscapes but there is a lot more to discover. You might still find those old forests, mostly above the polar circle; in a natural state without signs of human.

This autumn has been the most color-rich that I can remember in the last ten years. With that in mind, I was scouting some photo locations in Lapland. This small brook by the fell-side; literally in the middle of nowhere; was one of my targets. Water is crystal clear and running over the steep cliffside it forms a beautiful cascading waterfall. Surroundings are colored with vibrant autumn tones. Peaceful, dreamlike scenery. What could be a better way to relax?
